Auk Contraire

Call for submissions for the fifth issue of Auk Contraire, the zine published quarterly-ish through The Auk's Roost. 

The theme is "Bombshell," interpret it as you like. For example: overshares, missiles, pinups, life-altering events, big news, war... 

Submissions of art, puzzles, poetry, essays, stories, comics, photos, recipes, music, video (will be published as a QR link in the book), etc. will be accepted. Existing and new work both accepted.

Send submissions to: whittneyastreeter@gmail.com, please include your name (as you would want to be credited if accepted) and the title of the piece(s).

Submissions accepted through April 15th, 2018, contributors will be notified of acceptance after the deadline.

Also accepting submissions for the full-color cover image!

Some details: 
-The zine will be 5.5 x 4.25 inches
-stitched spine
-black and white
-color cover
-artists will attributed and maintain copyright of their creative work
-included contributors will get a copy of the zine, others will be given away with a suggested donation of $0-5 (to cover printing costs)
